Pitzer College invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2011 in 19th and 20th Century American Literature, with a specialization in Chicana/o-Latina/o literatures. Also desirable are research and teaching interests in gender and sexuality, queer theory, and/or film and literature. Candidate will teach 5 courses annually. A Ph.D. in English by the time of appointment is required. The successful candidate will have an ongoing research agenda and a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education and teaching.
