The Department of History at Towson University invites applications for a full-time, non tenure track, lecturer position in U.S. History to begin Fall 2010. The primary teaching responsibility for this position will be U.S. History survey sections (U.S. History To the Mid-Nineteenth Century OR U.S. History Since the Mid-Nineteenth Century). Other teaching responsibilities may include occasional upper level courses that complement or supplement the needs of the department depending on individual expertise. The teaching load for this position is four courses each semester. A Ph.D. in History is preferred but an ABD in History will be considered.
