The University of North Florida seeks to hire a tenure-track historian of Early Modern Britain/British Empire at the assistant professor level to begin in August 2010. The successful candidate will offer undergraduate and graduate courses in British History and will also be expected to teach in the university's general education program. Teaching experience and evidence of potential for excellence in teaching and scholarship are required, as is a Ph.D. (degree awarded no later than August 1, 2010).
