Prince of Asturias Chair in Spanish Culture and Civilization. The History Department at Tufts University invites applications at either the associate or full professor level for the Prince of Asturias Chair in Spanish Culture and Civilization. Candidates should have a distinguished record of scholarship in post-Columbian Spanish History and proven excellence in teaching. Scholars with a special interest in the history of Spain’s relations with the world outside Europe, including Spanish America, the Spanish diaspora and cultural fusion are urged to apply.
