History of Modern Science or Technology
The Department of History at Oregon State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in the History of Modern Science or Technology starting September 16, 2009. Area of specialization is open within the history of science or technology in the Modern Period (18th-21st centuries). Ph.D. should be completed by June 2009. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate courses as well as participation in the graduate program in History of Science (MA and PhD). Candidates should demonstrate a serious commitment to both scholarship and teaching. Preferred qualifications include a demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
