France in the World. The Department of History, Tufts University, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in the history of France and the World from the era of the French Revolution to the Present. Candidates with a special interest in Francophone civilization beyond Europe, the domestic French contexts of imperialism and colonialism or the multi-cultural character of metropolitan France are urged to apply. Candidates will be expected to teach both survey and upper level courses. Ph.D. and evidence of strong scholarly potential required; strong teaching experience preferred.
