The Department of African American and African Diaspora Studies (AAADS) at Indiana University-Bloomington invites applications for a tenured professorship (Associate or Full), effective August 1, 2009. We welcome applications from scholars whose work complements existing department strengths, and focuses on any aspect of African American, black Atlantic, or African diasporic culture, history, or society. We seek a dynamic scholar in the humanities or the social sciences with a distinguished research record who can contribute to both undergraduate and graduate studies, advance the research agenda of the department, and help enhance our new PhD program.
