Wake Forest University seeks a tenure-track assistant professor of United States history for appointment beginning August 2009. Research must be focused on the US as a world power since 1898. The teaching of surveys on the United States in the World, and World Civilizations is required. Excellent teaching of undergraduates and high-quality scholarship are central to Wake Forests mission. We will give strong preference to candidates with Ph.D. in hand by August 2009 and teaching experience.
