Concord Academy is an independent boarding and day school, grades nine through twelve. It offers a rigorous college preparatory curriculum in which the arts play an important role. The English Department anticipates an opening in the fall 2007.
Candidates should be capable of teaching English from 9th through 12th grade, able to offer a selection of upper-level electives. Applicants should have a minimum of 3-5 years experience teaching English at the secondary or collegiate level. A masters degree is preferred.

On-campus housing may be available; however, faculty members are not required to live at the school. Coaching an athletic team is encouraged (and remunerated), but not required.
