The Department of Japanese Studies at the National University of Singapore invites applications for an Assistant Professor (tenure track) or Associate Professor position in Japan-Asia Relations commencing in August 2007. Areas that will be given priority are International Relations/Politics, International or Developmental Economics.
Applicants should be able to teach in the broad area of Japan-Asia Relations and Politics. Scholars who specialize in certain regional areas such as Japan-North Asia, Japan-Southeast Asia, Japan-South Asia are also welcome to apply.
Applicants should have a relevant Ph.D. degree with appropriate teaching experience and a strong research record.
