Boston University announces a search for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Islamic Art and Architecture in the Art History Department of the College of Arts and Sciences and Graduate School, pending final budgetary approval, beginning September 1, 2006. A Ph.D. is required; teaching experience and publications are desirable. The successful candidate will teach four courses per year, normally two lecture courses and two seminars (three undergraduate courses, one graduate seminar). The application deadline is February 1, 2006.
