Project Coordinator

The History Department at Wright State University is seeking to hire a Project Coordinator for the Teaching American History Project, a federally funded initiative with the Dayton Public Schools. The Coordinator will work full time from August 1-December 31, 2005. Candidates must have an MA in History, Social Studies Education or related field. Classroom teaching experience, social studies certification, or a PhD are preferred. Successful applicants will demonstrate a high degree of competence in computer and multimedia applications and excellent interpersonal skills. The position involves local travel, classroom teaching, and some work in the evenings and on weekends. Salary is commensurate with experience. Position is contingent upon the availability of funds.
