H-Net Help - General Questions
Q: How do I become an editor or advisory board member?
A: To become an editor or advisory board member contact the current editor of the network you are interested in. You can find a list of duties for each position at http://www.h-net.org/lists/nominations/.
Q: Who do I contact with questions about H-Net?
A: See the Contact Page.
Q: How do I advertise on your site?
A: H-Net does not allow advertising on any of its webpages.
Q: How do I start a new list?
A: Look through our list of networks and make sure we do not already have a network that covers the topic you are interested in. If we do not already have an appropriate network, fill out the application form. You will then hear from our VP of Networks with further information.
Q: How do I remove a message of mine that was posted to one of your LISTSERVs?
A: H-Net does not alter its logs in any way. If you would like to dispute this policy please contact our VP of Networks explaining why you feel an exception should be made.
Q: My message was rejected for posting by a list editor. Who can I appeal this decision to?
A: You should contact the advisory board for the network. If you are not satisfied with their decision you can then contact our VP of Networks who will bring your appeal to the H-Net Council if necessary.
