The Midwest Conference on Utopian Studies at Valparaiso University is a regional conference dedicated to exploring the rich tradition of utopianism. We invite papers on topics related to the utopian tradition, from ancient to the present day, from diverse fields, such as: the history of actual or planned intentional communities, urban and rural planning, utopian and dystopian literature, utopian theory, architecture, music, art, and media and popular culture.
