The latest issue of Common-place offers a rare treat. From May 30 to June 1, 2013, a conference titled "The American Revolution Reborn" took place in Philadelphia. Organized by Patrick Spero and Mike Zuckerman, this conference brought together rising and established scholars from around the world to present the latest in scholarship on the American Revolution. The papers presented on the conference's panels will be published in book form, but the sessions also had commentary from some of the most distinguished scholars in the field. This issue presents those remarks, as well as video footage from the conference graciously provided by HISTORY. In addition to this exciting online symposium, we hope that you enjoy the essays, and also that you continue the conference's spirit of conversation in the comments. We also have a rich array of columns in this issue, featuring discussions of stitched map samplers, Confederate songsters, and poetry about Georgia O'Keefe in New Mexico. For all this, plus reviews of the latest scholarship on early America, please visit http://www.common-place.org.
