Call for submissions! HB#12: Dreams and Reality - Due Date June 1st, 2014
Do dreams have significance, and if so, what is it? Have you ever had a dream so compelling that it has left you questioning what was real, and what was not? Have you ever wondered about your daily perceptions of the world, and whether you were seeing things as they truly were? If you know what is 'real', do you have advice on how to separate us from the delusions preventing us from accessing reality? Are nightmares plaguing your nights, howling for expression on the printed page? Or, are the brightest dreams clamoring for representation in your artistic craft?
If any of these questions have piqued your interest, and you have something you wish to share, then we would like to work with you!
For our upcoming twelfth issue, Highbrau Magazine is seeking submissions related to the theme of 'Dreams and Reality'.
Written submissions of any sort - poetry, fiction, researched argument, conjecture - and on any specific subject related to the theme are welcomed. Article word length is ideal at 900 - 1500 words/article. Visual art and photography of any sort is welcomed. We print in black and white, so black and white pieces, or pieces that will convert well into grey scale, are sought. (If you are interested in doing a cover piece, or in taking a two-page centrefold spread, please contact us as far in advance as possible.)
The provisional due-date for issue #12 is June 1st, 2014. For more information, or to provide submissions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
