The Franco-German studies (19th and 20th centuries) committee invites scholars to submit proposals for sessions at their Twelfth Colloquium in Grenoble (France) in October 2014.
The committee actively encourages the participation of Franco-German tandems. I am currently doing a PhD thesis on the appropriations of the Jesuit model by women between Revolution and Restoration in France (religious construction of gender). I am looking for someone from the German perspective on this field. If you are interested in submitting a joint proposal related to the status of religious women (19th century), please contact Sarah Barthélemy (firstname.lastname@example.org).
