Fascinated by historical biography? If so, come on out to a free day-long conference on The Art of Biography, co-sponsored by the Dictionary of Canadian Biography and the Department of History, University of Toronto. This conference is going to be an excellent opportunity to hear four prominent authors and historians (Cecilia Morgan, Suzanne Morton, John English, and Charlie Foran) discuss their approach to writing biography, with a focus on Canadian history. The conference is taking place at the Jackman Humanities Building (170 St. George Street, at Bloor) in Toronto on Saturday March 22, 2014 from 9:30-4:30.
