This year the Walter Prescott Webb Memorial Lectures will focus on recent trends in Transatlantic History that address the themes of encounters, commodities, and identities.The lectures will feature the research of recent graduates of the doctoral program in Transatlantic History at the University of Texas at Arlington. The keynote address with be offered by Marcus Rediker, Distinguished Professor of Atlantic History at the University of Pittsburgh. All lectures are free and open to the public.
