The Journal of South Texas is now excepting submissions for its fall 2014 issue please e-mail Dr. Alberto Rodriguez at firstname.lastname@example.org and cc: email@example.com with articles by May 15, 2014. The Journal of South Texas is a double-blind reviewed journal that seeks contributions about the social, political, military, economic and cultural history of South Texas/greater South Texas; it also includes articles about the geography or literature of South Texas/grater South Texas, as well as biographical studies. The editors carefully evaluate the quality and originality of the scholarship and choose articles and reviews for publication based on comments from referees. The editors also consider whether an article contributes to the scholarship of South Texas/greater South Texas and whether the style is readable and appropriate for a scholarly journal.
