Emory University's Institute of African Studies would like to announce the schedule for its Spring 2014 conference, "20 Years Later: South Africa and the Post-Apartheid Condition." The conference will be held at the university in Atlanta, GA from April 17-19. There will be five sessions: History, Politics, and Identity; Chiefship and Indigeneity; Gender, Labor, and Transformation; The Politics of Space in the "New" South Africa; and Performance and the Cultures of Violence. The conference is open to the public.
