Call for Submissions: Journal of Levantine Studies
Journal of Levantine Studies (JLS) is currently open for submissions.
JLS is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the critical study of the social, political, and cultural settings that in various periods of history have been known as the Levant. As a platform for theoretical and empirical scholarship, JLS aims to reclaim the notion of the Levant as a historical and political concept and as a category of identity and classification.
JLS publishes articles that are focused on the modern and contemporary eras and that engage academic discussion on relevant topics, including but not limited to:
-Migrations of knowledge and people
-Diaspora communities and networks
-Culture, identity, and consumerism
-Religious and political thought
-Political parties and movements
We accept electronic submissions through our website: www.levantine-journal.org. Please review our Submission Guidelines before making your submission.
