Organized by the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) and the Spanish Agency for Health Protection in Sport (AEPSAD).
On specific perspective of Social and Human Sciences.
From the specific perspective of Social and Human Sciences, we believe that this initiative will contribute to identify the factors that influence the use of doping substances and methods. From this knowledge we hope to foster future
prevention and doping control and to promote ethical behavior in sport. In addition, this Congress will devote a special session aimed for young students, both high school and university levels, which will address issues related to prevention. It is due to attend a wide representation of authorities related to sport, researchers, educators and other professionals working in different areas of fight against doping.
This Congress is conceived with a scientific-educational purpose to meet people interested in a current and broad topic as doping in sports, focusing on the field of Social and Human Sciences. Therefore, the structure is established as follows:
- Scientific Area (Social and Human Sciences):
Others subjects in SHS
- Educational Area (doping prevention)
High School students
The Congress accepts texts written in any of the three official languages: English, Spanish and French. No simultaneous translation is provided except for the plenary sessions.
