Crossroads of East Asia: The 17th Annual Harvard East Asia Society Conference
Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA
February 21 - February 23, 2014
The HEAS Graduate Student Conference is an annual event which provides an interdisciplinary forum for graduate students to exchange ideas and discuss current research on East Asia. The conference allows young scholars to present their research to both their peers and to eminent scholars in East Asian Studies. All panels will be moderated by Harvard University faculty. The conference will also allow participants to meet others in their field conducting similar research and to forge new professional relationships.
The Harvard East Asia Society draws its membership from all those in the Harvard community whose academic interests focus upon East Asia. Our student-run, non-profit conference is the largest of its kind in North America. This year, in celebrating the 17th anniversary of the Harvard East Asia Society Conference, the coordinators are delighted to organize and present a memorable forum as well as providing various social settings to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue in the field of East Asian Studies.
