I am co-editor for a two-volume book that will be published later this year with ABC-CLIO on this topic, looking at how God is represented in popular culture, interpreted widely across television, film, music, visual and performance media, and sports. As we come down to the deadline of submitting our volumes to the publisher, we find that we need a few more chapters, although we need them in a rather quick turnover time: No later than March 15, 2014.
If you would be interested in contributing a chapter (5,000-8,000 words typically), please get back in touch with me (firstname.lastname@example.org) RIGHT AWAY and let me know 1-3 ideas you have about what sort of contribution you would like to make to the volume. This can be a 1-4 sentence proposal. In turn, I’ll get back to you within 24 hours to let you know whether or not we could use the chapter that you have proposed.
So, if you have an otherwise unpublished essay or a conference paper that you would like to see published and were looking for a good avenue for that: here it is. We’d love to have you be part of the project, and I look forward to hear back from you soon.
Also, if you want to send this on to any of your friends, colleagues, or graduate students, please feel free to do so.
