The University of Texas at Arlington is proud to announce the second annual UTA English Graduate Conference on Saturday, April 5, 2014. Our theme is "Digital Utopias: Literary Space(s) in the Digital Age." Dr. Brian Greenspan, from Carleton University, is our distinguished keynote speaker. Dr. Greenspan's work covers the intersections of digital humanities and utopian studies, which is the focus of the conference. Dr. Kenneth Roemer will also be a special guest speaker, and his topic is "The Absolute Truth about Utopia." Our conference will contain papers and presentations covering various threads of discussion surrounding digital humanities, social media, utopian studies, and all points of crossover in between.
