Call For Poster Session Proposals, 2014 Pacific Northwest History Conference “Citizenships in the Pacific Northwest”, April 4, 2014
Deadline for proposals is January 30, 2014.
The Conference Program Committee is seeking proposals for the Poster Session to be held as part of the 2014 Pacific Northwest History Conference at the Red Lion Hotel Vancouver at the Quay in Vancouver, Washington April 3-5, 2014. The Poster Session will be held on the evening of April 4, 2014 at the hotel.
Submissions are welcome on any topic, from any discipline relating to the themes of the conference, “Citizenships in the Pacific Northwest” or “The 125th Anniversary of Washington Statehood”. Besides regular poster content, we encourage research in progress, technology-based projects and small exhibits.
Poster presenters will exhibit their research or project as a poster, small exhibit, PowerPoint or other electronic presentation, engaging conference participants individually in conversation within the exhibition hall format. Presenters will provide their own laptops for electronic presentations. We will be sending more information about the conference scheduling, registration and logistics, however the Poster Presentation is limited to a 36” wide x 48” high space.
Poster presentation participants will be required to pay a minimal fee for the conference, if they are not otherwise participating in the event. Notification of acceptance by February 10, 2014.
