Call For Chapters: An Edited Book on "Nigeria and the Millennium Development Goals"
Call for Papers Date:
We are looking for contributors to our edited book project on “Nigeria and the Millennium Development Goals”.
The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are eight international development goals established by the United Nations at the UN Millennium Summit in 2000 which member states pledged to attain by 2015. The goals have associated targets against which progress can be assessed. Nigeria is a signatory to the millennium declaration. As 2015 approaches, there is a need to assess the country’s progress in each of the MDGs. The main objective of this work is to take stock of challenges and bottlenecks in the implementation of the MDGs and to recommend good strategies towards achieving the MDGs by 2015 and/or beyond.
