This is the Call for Papers for the 2014 Chiasmi, the 7th annual graduate student conference of Italian Studies at Brown and Harvard. Submission is open to Graduate students and scholars of a similar level and beyond. The title this year is "MEMORIES: TRADITION AND REVISION, AMNESIA AND RETRIEVAL". Given the double anniversary in 2014, we expect papers on the legacies of the two World Wars, but we welcome proposals from all periods and disciplines that tackle the problem of memory in an aspect of Italian culture, or in Italy-related elements of non-Italian traditions.
The conference will be held on 7 and 8 March, 2014 at Brown University. Please e-mail proposals to firstname.lastname@example.org.
