In my role as Series Editor, I am delighted to announce that we have recently published our 28th volume in the Pickering & Chatto Enlightenment World Series. “Representing Humanity in the Age of Enlightenment” is a fascinating collection of essays traces the concept of ‘humanity’ through revolutionary politics, feminist biography, portraiture, explorer narratives, libertine and Orientalist fiction, the philosophy of conversation and musicology. I hope that this will be of interest to a large number of listserv members and that some of you might also be interested in contributing to the Series. We are actively looking for monographs and essay collections which take an innovative and challenging look at the political and intellectual history of the Enlightenment period.
Details of the Series and how to submit to it can be found at the following link http://www.pickeringchatto.com/series/47-enlightenment-world
