call for papers: Scritture migranti / Migrant writings
Call for Papers Date:
The Editorial Board of Scritture migranti: rivista di scambi interculturali is now accepting proposals for its 7/2013 issue. Interested scholars should send an abstract (at least 2 pages long) and a short bio to firstname.lastname@example.org. Deadline for submissions: JANUARY 10, 2014.
Scritture migranti particularly welcomes contributions which are innnovative in terms of themes, subjects, methodologies, and theoretical approaches relevant to the multiple intersections of writing and migration. Authors should clearly state, in the abstract, the relevance of their proposal. Authors are also encouraged to check the table of contents and abstracts of previous issues (www.scritturemigranti.it) to understand the journal's focus and to be sure that their proposal does not overlap with previously published articles. Articles in any of the major languages of international exchange are accepted.
Abstracts should refer to one of the sections of the journal (Writings, Readings, Visions, Instruments, Routes). For more information, see www.scritturemigranti.it
Selected abstracts will be developed by the authors into full articles and then will be evaluated through a blind peer-review process. Deadline for complete articles: APRIL 14, 2014.
Scritture migranti is based at the Department of Italian and Classic of the University of Bologna, and published by CLUEB Editrice. The journal is also available full-text through the ProQuest-Literature Online database.
