Call for Papers: New Errands - The Undergraduate

Call for Papers Date:
New Errands, The Eastern American Studies Association’s online journal of undergraduate research, is now accepting submissions for the Spring 2014 issue. Published semi-annually (fall and spring), New Errands offers undergraduate students the opportunity to submit papers that are highly focused or broad in scope. Topics must have an Americanist focus, but can employ a variety of disciplinary methods.
New Errands’ mission is to provide a venue for the publication of important original scholarship by emerging young scholars and to provide a teaching resource for instructors of American Studies looking for exemplary work to use in the classroom.
Accepted papers will be published semi-annually, after the end of each academic semester, so they can be made available as quickly as possible for use in the following term.
•Essays can be of any length, but they must have a research focus.
•Manuscripts should conform to MLA guidelines.
•Submission Deadline: January 15, 2014
