The Graduate Program in American Studies at Rutgers-Newark will hold an open house for prospective Ph.D. and M.A. students on Wednesday, November 13 from 6-8 pm in 245 Conklin Hall. Our program explores American politics, culture and society in our backyard and around the world. We also have a special interest in public humanities, oral history and digital humanities. Doctoral students admitted with a full aid package will receive an offer of a four-year teaching assistantship; funding for a fifth year is available on a competitive basis. To learn more about us, visit www.ncas.rutgers.edu/americanstudies.
The deadline for applications to our doctoral program is January 16, 2014. Applications to the MA program will be accepted on a rolling basis until July 1, 2014.
If you plan to attend our open house, please rsvp to Georgia Mellos at firstname.lastname@example.org.
