New Issue on Line. Red-Historia. Images and web resources for historians.
It is our pleasure to present on line a new number of Red-Historia. Web resources for history dedicated to images.
Red-Historia is a section of historiapolitica.com dedicated to think about the way in which scientific scholars incorporate information and communication technologies into the production of historical knowledge.
In this dossier, our objective is to show some of the posibilites which opens the multiple accesses of the web offering critical aproaches to images.
Ines Yujnovsky presents an introduction, which includes links to web pages, such as Memoria Chilena, a blog about art and politics created and sustained by Marta Cabrera or the MIT Visualizing Cultures.
This dossier is completed with an article by Lev Manovich about quantitative observation of images and an interview to Kenneth Price from the Walt Whitman Archives.
