The Institute is looking for the nation's best and bright African American male college students to participate in its Washington Program.
The Institute for Responsible Citizenship prepares high-achieving African American men to be leaders of great character who make significant contributions to their communities, our country and the world. Our intensive two-summer program includes:
-High-level paid internships
-Rigorous academic coursework
-Comprehensive leadership and professional development workshops
-Private briefings with influential leaders
-Housing provided by the Institute
-Service as teachers and mentors in the Institute's Youth Scholar Academy
Applicants must be college sophomores, demonstrate strong academic performance, exhibit leadership potential, and commit to two summers. All majors are encouraged to apply.
