2014 HGSO Conference Call for Papers

February 7-8, 2014
The History Graduate Student Organization at Texas Tech University announces its Third Annual Graduate Student Conference to be held at Texas Tech University on February 8, 2014. HGSO welcomes papers and panels on all historical topics in all geographic areas and time-periods.
Individual submissions should include a 300-word abstract and brief curriculum vitae for each presenter. Panel submissions should include a 500-word panel proposal and brief CVs for each panel participant. Complete panels are appreciated, but not required.
Presenters will have a chance to network with other graduate students from around the area at a Meet and Greet scheduled the night before the conference. They will also have the opportunity to explore Texas Tech University’s Southwest Collections/Special Collections Library and the Vietnam Center and Archive for those interested. A guest speaker for the conference will be announced shortly.
