Seminar held in connection with the exhibition “Dr Livingstone, I Presume”
The Royal Museum for Central Africa and the King Baudouin Foundation are organizing a one-day seminar in connection with Livingstone’s Bicentenary. The day will focus on the relationship between Livingstone and Stanley, and the impact of their joint travel on the Tanganyika Lake, on the ageing explorer and the young journalist and traveller.
The seminar will take place on September 16, at the BELvue Museum (Brussels, Belgium). Confirmed scholars from Europe and United States will participate.
Admission is free, but attendants must register: please spread the word around!
