The Global Studies Conference, entering its seventh year in 2014, creates an interdisciplinary platform that explores the ever-shifting dynamics of globalization. The conference encourages discussions on mapping the 'new globalization,' globalization in the larger human scheme, and globalization in theory.
Proposals for presentations are now accepted for the 2014 conference, to be held 19-21 June 2014 at the Center for Global Studies at Shanghai University, Shanghai, China. Topics are intentionally broad to encourage a wide range of ideas, but should address globalization through one of the following themes: Economy and Trade; Politics, Power, and Institutions; Society and Culture; Resources and Environment.
Accepted proposals are eligible for article submission and possible publication in The Global Studies Journal.
