Department of Psychology and Laboratorio EcoLab (University of Palermo) present the Seventh Edition of the International Summer School "Migrants, Human Rights and Democracy", to be held on September 9-14 2013 in Favignana (Trapani), Sicily, Italy.
This year's summer school focuses on RACISM, XENOPHOBIA, SOCIAL EXCLUSION. Specific workshops and roundtables will be about:
- Racism, Xenophobia and life contexts
- Immigrant women, violence and prostitution
- Social exclusion/inclusion
- Labour market and slavery
Applicants have to apply by August 18, 2013, writing an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Notification of acceptance will be given by August 24, 2013.
Summer School fee is 100€ (materials and conference meals are included), applicants will need to cover their own costs of transportation and accommodation. The closest airport is Catania, with frequent and good international connections.
