Department of Psychology and Laboratorio EcoLab (University of Palermo) invite paper proposal for the Seventh Edition of the International Summer School "Migrants, Human Rights and Democracy", to be held on September 9-14 2013 in Favignana (Trapani), Sicily, Italy.
This year's summer school focuses on RACISM, XENOPHOBIA, SOCIAL EXCLUSION.
Possible topics for papers include:
- Racism, Xenophobia and life contexts
- Immigrant women, violence and prostitution
- Social exclusion/inclusion
- Labour market and slavery
Please submit a proposal of 500 words in English, with a brief CV to firstname.lastname@example.org by August 18, 2013. Notification of acceptance will be given by August 24, 2013.
Summer School fee is 200€. Papers will be published with a confirmed ISBN number/reference. The cost of conference meals will be covered, while participants will need to cover their own costs of transportation and accommodation. The closest airport is Catania, with frequent and good international connections.
