ILA webinar - Transforming Self, Transforming Institutions: Collaborative Leadership and Group Dynamics
Leadership demands complex psychological processes on the part of the leader; leaders must integrate a personal sense of self with an awareness of the multiple ways in they are imagined, experienced, and represented by their followers.
In this webinar, Ruthellen Josselson will lead participants in an exploration of the life and lessons learned from Faith Gabelnick, the first woman President of Pacific University, a pioneer in learning communities, and a leader in the A. K. Rice Institute for the study of social systems. Through this framework, participants will:
• Analyze the dynamics of leadership and authority in the context of group relations
• Learn how these patterns impact the group as a whole
• Discover how your own life experiences influence how you work with groups.
