THE MEDIATED CITY – two multidisciplinary conferences examining “the city”…… a virtual, filmic, social, political and physical construct.
London. April 2014
Los Angeles. October 2014
THE MEDIATED CITY conference offers a platform for multiple and diverse examinations of the city. It aims to bring people together from diverse backgrounds and fragment, multiply and reconfigure our readings of the city; to offer multiple and conflicting discipline perspectives.
It is open to architects, urban designers, film makers, gamers, human geographers, sociologists …… and more.
As part of the events the organizers are seeking proposals for WORKSHOPS on any discipline specific issue related to cities. The nature of the workshop will not be defined by the organizers but people with proposals should look at the guidelines ay http://architecturemps.com
For informal discussions about proposals contact Dr Graham Cairns: firstname.lastname@example.org
Deadline for initial proposals: 15th September 2013
