Where are the synthetics works on this question?
What about is architecture itself?
So many commentary around architecture but in the last century only a few essential writings about how a disposition of matter comes to architecture.
Van der Laan and Corbusier are the only exception.
Since the the revolution of thoughts after the idealism, Cantor,… Gödel,… Freud,… Heidegger ,...Mies van de Rohe ,...Lacan, ....Kahn, ....Foucault, .... Badiou, .... brought at stake, to substitute the notion of substantive human, a notion of 'subject', as noncentral to itself and even not a priori there.
That makes that to-day architecture and the subject are both not a substantive thing a priori but are both an 'operation'.
So the question ‘Why is it so difficult to speak.....?’ is also the question 'what is speaking?' and not 'who is speaking?’
‘To speak’ as ‘to architect’ are difficult.
Isn't it so that
'what about is ‘to speak’?'
'what about is architecture?' are the same question?
Everybody, from all disciplines, who thinks in that field and trough the history of that thought is welcome to enter an abstract.
