The University of Arkansas Press Series on Food and Foodways
We are seeking book projects for this new series, which will focus on historical and contemporary food studies. Scholarship on a wide range of topics will be considered, but
of particular interest are works in the
humanities and social sciences that use food
as a lens to examine broader social, political,
cultural, and economic issues.
We are interested in scholarly monographs, edited collections that represent cutting edge scholarship, and cookbooks and other projects geared at a wide audience.
Two of our first titles will be collections about African-American and Native American foodways, and we are interested in developing collections about the historical food habits of other groups as well.
Please send queries and ideas to Jennifer Jensen Wallach, Series Editor, at firstname.lastname@example.org
