MUSA Launch Event 9 May 2013, 5.30 pm. MUSA is a cross disciplinary networking and research-exchange platform focused on connecting PhD students, early researchers and academics working on any aspect of Muslim societies in the countries of South Asia.
Housed at SOAS and reaching out to young researchers and practitioners internationally, MUSA will be hosting regular networking events and a one-day annual conference, scheduled on 23 October 2013.We are also building a directory of researchers on Muslim South Asia, which includes information on their specific research topics. Our Facebook page will serve as a central noticeboard of all events, activities and initiatives relevant to the study of Muslim South Asia.
Please join us for our launch event, an informal networking evening, where we will present the MUSA and listen to the introductory address of Professor Werner Menski (SOAS Professor of South Asian Laws).
