I'm trying to organize a panel for the 2013 Ethnohistory meeting this year in New Orleans (!!) that focuses on Latin America. This year's conference theme is "Water Ways: Ethnohistories of People and Water"...see the conference web site for details.
My work would be focusing on Guatemala in the twentieth century. Any time period, region, or discipline welcome. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get to work on an abstract and finding someone to comment.
Please get in touch before April 15th so there's plenty of time to revise proposals, abstracts, etc. and submit the panel by April 19.
