Koç University Summer Programs 2013!
It is our pleasure to announce this year’s repertoire of summer programs at Koç University. Each summer course embodies a distinctive content and opportunities within its themes; highlighting the elite expertise within Koç and brought to Koç through our international collaborations. There are scholarships available in each program.
Istanbul Through the Ages:
Discover Istanbul from pre-history to present through a series of lectures and site visits. This program is open to Graduate and Phd students with a strong background in Archaeology, Art History, History and Urbanism.
Cappadocia in Context:
Immerse yourself in Byzantine & Post-Byzantine Cappadocia! You will have a chance to see Cappadocia through a series of trips and lectures from Prof. Robert Ousterhout and Dr. Tolga Uyar. This Program is open to Graduate and Phd students majoring in Archaeology, Art History and History.
Ottoman Epigraphy:
Surveying the development of Ottoman inscriptions through a series of seminar discussions, Bursa/Edirne trips and lectures from University of Chicago Professors Cornell Fleischer and Hakan Karateke. This program is open to Graduate and Phd students majoring in Archaeology, Art History and History.
