2013 Midwest Popular Culture Association Conference
Friday-Sunday, October 11-13, 2013
St. Louis, MO
St. Louis Union Station Hotel, A Doubletree by Hilton
Deadline: April 30, 2013
The Art History and Visual Culture Area of The Midwest Popular Culture Association is now accepting proposals for its upcoming Conference in October 2013.
Proposals will be accepted from any area relating to art history and visual culture. Potential topics could include, but are not limited to:
• Museum Studies
• Representations of artists in film and/or literature
• Illustrated texts
• Single-artist studies
• Visual Advertisements
Please upload 250 word abstract proposals on any aspect of art history and visual culture to the Art History and Visual Culture area at http://submissions.mpcaaca.org/
Please include name, affiliation, and e-mail address with the 250 word abstract. Also, please indicate in your submission whether your presentation will require an LCD Projector.
