This is the 21st of a series of conferences on British novelists organized by the Department of Foreign Language Education in Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey. “The Bronte Sisters and Their Work” is the theme for this year’s conference, which will be held on 12-13 December 2013. The organizers invite proposals for 20-minute presentations on any aspect of the work of Charlotte, Emily and Anne Bronte. Interdisciplinary and comparative approaches placing the work of the Bronte Sisters within contexts such as media, performance and adaptation studies are also welcome. Selected papers will be published in the conference proceedings.
Please send abstracts of about 250 words to metubnc@metu.edu.tr by 23 August 2013. Please include your name, institutional affiliation and contact information in your submission.
