For this proposed special session, I welcome paper proposals that address the presidential theme, Vulnerable Times, as it relates to Caribbean literature.
How does 20th/21st century Caribbean literature grapple with political, economic, environmental, social, or affective vulnerabilities?
Submit abstracts (~200 words) and brief bio to Kristine Wilson (wilson67@purdue.edu). DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 22 March 2013.
The 129th MLA Annual Convention will take place in Chicago from 9–12 January 2014.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a proposed special session, contingent on final approval by the MLA committee (sometime in June).
